Family Born in Horley, the son of the late Dr William Chessall of Horley and Mrs Adelaide Burkingyoung of the Cottage, Mill Straight, Southwater. His elder brother William AM Chessall became a Quaker on 28th.3.1914. His younger brother Clifford was a banker in Mozambique. Arthur Roland Holmes Chessall donated a cup to Southwater Horticultural Society.
