Died 5th May 1915 in the Dardanelles Buried on the right of Krithia Road, between two forks of the Achi Baba Gully, in the rear of the Redoubt lines.

Family Born 3rd October 1888 at Warnham. His parents were blacksmith William Eames born Balls Cross and his wife Mary Ann . He was a cousin of brickmakers Percy and Horace Eames. In 1901 the family home was Bonfire Hill, Southwater He married Beatrice Richardson around June 1913. As a widow Beatrice lived at 2 Andrews Cottages, Andrews Road, Southwater. He left a child.
